On the 18th and 19th of June 2020 we will be hosting our 4th biennial technical conference at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield in the UK. It promises to be a fantastic event with technical speakers, breakout sessions, networking opportunities and tours of IST lab facilities.

Spread over 1 and a half days SpringCon is the technical conference for all things spring, if you work in the spring manufacturing industry, from design to production, this conference will provide an in-depth view of the global spring industry as it is today.

We’ll be hearing from some of the largest organisations in the business; we’ve got presentations from Martin Bauer at Wafios about their e-mobility applications, Joan Samuel the head of global product from Winoa group about a more efficient and cost-effective shot peening process, as well as our very own Dr Conor McCaughey on the continued research at IST with a focus on Nitriding. We’ll also be hearing from June Smith the regional affairs manager at Make UK on how Brexit is and will continues to effect manufacturing.

Growing year on year the conference has proved to be a hit with manufacturers, designers and end users alike; providing many opportunities for professional networking throughout. There will also be a chance for more informal and relaxed business talk over a few drinks and a three-course dinner on the Thursday evening for those that have booked to attend the dinner.
