Research & Development

We have a range of ongoing and one-off projects with which any member can get involved with. Many of our projects are focused on Research & Development and are all undertaken to improve the standard and quality of springs across the spring manufacturing industry.  Depending on the project you will be entitled to certain benefits, such as exclusive access to reports or further discounts on other services.

Why Get Involved With a Project?

The ultimate aim of all our projects is to help the wider spring making community. So whether this is extending our data in SCP to improve spring design or to research the benefits of nitriding, each project feeds back into making safer, healthier springs.

I’m Not a Member, Can I Get Involved?

All of our research projects are open to our membership and as a member, you get exclusive access to reports from these projects. The first refusal goes to our membership, and from there we may open them up to others. If you’d like to get involved in a project but are not a member we would still like to hear from you so please get in touch.
