Each edition we will be putting a member of the IST team through their paces and asking them a variety of questions, not all business related to try and attempt to get to know them a little better. So, continuing with the newbies, Chris its over to you… your turn in the hot seat.

What is your role within IST?
My main role within IST is support on the commercial activities within the business. To drive commercial sales for all areas of the business in line with the business plan and organisation strategy as well as support on the long term interests to identify areas for growth. I do get involved with other things but this is the main focus!
Where were you born?
Doncaster on the 24/01/1980. Still live there with my partner and little boy called Sebastian who is 5!
What does a typical day look like for you at IST?
My day to day can be very diverse, I know it’s a cliché, but genuinely no day is the same! Currently my time is split more or less 50/50 between being in the office and the other out and about meeting with customers. I really enjoy meeting people, forging new business relationships and exploring all opportunities that will benefit all parties. If you want to arrange a meeting, then I’d be delighted to hear from you! chrish@ist.org.uk
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside work I like to keep fit, I do a lot of running, cycling and going to the gym. The majority of time is spent with the family and chauffeuring Sebastian (remember he is 5!!) to football, tennis, swimming, A&E and parties etc! he has a better social life than me! I’m not complaining though! He keeps me on my toes!
What football team do you support?
I support Sheffield Wednesday, have done pretty much all of my life, I just keep saying, this year is our year!
What music is on your iPhone/Android phone?
Not sure I want to admit this, it’s very mixed, I have some good old fashioned house tracks on there that I use when I’m out running, Meat Loaf and not sure how Celine Dion made it on but she did!
