We are able to retro-fit our control systems to many non IST test machines giving the ability to use IST's advanced control software, data storage and analysis. The retrofit includes a new motor and drive, control electronics, industrial PC and software. Further enhancements include the fitment of higher performance loadcells with overload protection and where required new length transducers. Mechanical refurbishment, as required can be undertaken at the IST facility during the retro-fit. Please note that most load testing machines are mechanically inferior to IST units and thus the overall precision of an upgraded machine will compromised. However the excellent functionality and speed of an IST machine will be available at a considerably lower cost than that of a new machine. Some examples of recent refits are shown above.
