Prestressing Machines Produce Lighter More Efficient Springs With Improved Fatigue Life

Prestressing your springs before you despatch them to your customers will enable you to design the springs to meet higher stresses, and will increase the load bearing capacity within the available design space envelope.

Prestressed springs are lighter and have improved fatigue performance compared with un-prestressed springs

IST's automatic prestressing machines efficiently perform the prestressing operation for compression springs. They are specially designed and robustly built to a very high specification to give years of trouble-free service.

Standard Features:

· Single / Multiple spring operations to maximise throughput.
· Fully adjustable prestress load to cover a wide range of spring designs.
· Watch-dog timers monitor all control sequences.

· Fully adjustable number of prestressing operations (1-9).
· All pneumatic operation use plc control.
· Two handed safety control and interlocking guard on prestressing head.
