IST, The International Independent Centre of Excellence for Spring Technology, is set to revolutionise the way spring designers work with its innovative online Spring Calculator software which is to be launched and demonstrated at Wire 2010, Dusseldorf. It is based on and compliments IST's successful Spring Design and Validation software.
IST's Spring Calculator is the first flexible web based application of its kind, allowing users to perform advanced spring design as a pay as you go service, when they want and where they want. Spring Calculator is an online application, so there are no upfront expenses for a license, the user needs to spend no time on installation and there are no costs associated with maintenance or updates. This powerful, feature-rich and intuitive software is accessible to a wider audience who may have previously been unable to justify the costs associated with other sophisticated spring calculation software.
With an easy-to-use interface, users simply activate their account online, pay for the service for a time period to suit their needs and then instantly begin their spring designs. Work is saved secure and online to IST's server, and designs can be easily shared with colleagues or clients, anywhere in the world. The user simply generates an email invite to guests, allowing them to view or edit their designs. Spring Calculator is compatible with all major web browsers and operating systems.
