We are always looking for suitable candidates to help us to deliver the range of significant projects which we are undertaking for some of the world's leading engineering firms. Whilst based in Sheffield, our customer base is world-wide, and working with IST offers opportunities to travel.

If you have an understanding of the market requirements of the spring supply chain, from material supply through spring manufacturing to end user applications, then we would like to hear from you. Whilst candidates should currently have a spring manufacturing best practise. An understanding of 5S, Health & Safety and Production Line Improvements would also assist.

Currently we are looking for candidates with the following areas of experience:-

Metallurgists
We are looking for graduate level candidates who can assist our customers in:-

  • Providing technical guidance on their specific projects
  • Working with them to test their spring designs
  • Helping them in resolving issues

    This is a hands-on role which will require experience in spring and material testing. Graduates in Mechanical Engineering would also be of interest to work on spring design and test machine development.

Technical Support
We are looking for graduate level candidates in Information Technology or Computing who can help us develop our world leading design and test machine software systems by: -

  • Providing technical support to customers who have purchased our products; this needs prior experience in installing and supporting software
  • Having knowledge and hands-on experience of a range of operating systems, and desktop software, such as MS Office. Basic hardware and software support skills, and web development would be an advantage.
  • Possessing programming skills; experience in VB6 or VB.NET would be advantageous.

Temporary Office Administrator
Currently we need a short term resource to help us undergo a transition between systems. This candidate should understand Sage 50 Accounts and Job Costing as well as MS Office Packages, especially Access. This would be a part time role to start with, hours and working schedule to suit.

All these roles require customer facing skills; administration and record keeping abilities are important, as is the ability to respond quickly to enquiries and problems.
