Base (Validation) Module
· User-friendly interface allows easy input of the spring details, by physical dimensions and operating positions.

· Calculation of spring characteristics, operating stresses, and tolerance data, with graphical display of spring diameter clearance.
Graphics Module
· Spring drawing including operating positions.
· Goodman diagram giving fatigue life prediction with pre-stressing and shot-peening options.

· Load vs length graph shows prestressed and overstressed levels, operating data and tolerances.
Design Module
· Define the space envelope and required characteristics and automatically design for lightest possible spring (available for compression, extension or torsion spring types).
· Optimal Design (compression springs only): specify ranges for various      design criteria such as space envelope, operating characteristics, weight, natural frequency, and select the target feature to be maximised or minimised. 
Compass Module
· Computer Aided Spring Setting utility, available for compression and extension springs.
· Given input requirements and measured spring parameters machine settings are calculated for optimum set-up.
